Part 4 of the series, "Kingdom Strategies: Old Tactics For New Victories." Evangelist Brent Vinson joins David and Tim W. Gill to examine the letter to Thytara. Part 4 examines the issues and problems of Thytara. This church was tolerating the spirit of Jezebel. This spirit is actively working in the church around the world. Thytara had a lot of great qualities, but idolatry and open rebellion was operating in this church.
The church that overcomes the Jezebel spirit, and keeps His works to the end, is promised authority over the nations. Deal with the issue at home, because God has a greater place of authority planned.

This ungrounded and unsound college town gave into the political and elite culture around them. Compromise is a persistent nagging problem in the church at Pergamum. The church is facing the same problem today.
Jesus said to them and to us, “Repent and discern My word and embrace the hidden manna of absolute truth.”

Smyrna was dealing with attacks on every level. They were the suffering church. Persecuted, afflicted, slandered, and impoverished. Spiritually rich and vibrant, but fearful. Jesus says to them and to us, “Overcome fear. Be faithful, for I AM Faithful!”

Tim W. and David Gill take a look at the letter to Ephesus. This church was a loveless ultra-conservative church that was strong morally, and fervent with their orthodoxy, but they lost their first love. Jesus said to them and to us, “Remember how you used to love, repent, and redo your first works. Love passionately again.”
